Romans 3:30 (NKJV)
“since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.”
There is no other pathway or pattern for men to be justified. God has one way and Jesus is the only way to find peace with God. Whether you are Jew or Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, the requirement is the same, and that is total faith in the work of Christ on the cross.
But we sometimes love to make distinctions. We think that God may need to work harder or have a more complex plan for the more serious criminals, because their sins require a more special plan for atoning. Unfortunately, this thinking is completely false. The most hideous criminal is expected to fulfill the same law of faith as the most morally upright Jew, because to God, all are sinners and the penalties and redemptive plans are the same. It is God, not man, who justifies. Faith in Jesus is sufficient for God to justify you, no matter how bad you are or how deep you’ve sunken. The God of love justifies all who believe, irrespective of the weight of sin and guilt. Halleluya.
“Lord, I believe. No matter how bad I am, I believe that there is hope for me and others like me, once we turn our gaze to Jesus. Halleluya. Such great and wonderful hope in Christ. Amen.”Romans 3:30 (NKJV)
