Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

We know and are confident that as long as we are located in Christ, God is in control of every situation around us and He is working out all things for good. Because we love God, He will make good come out of even the most miserable and ugly situation. We know this is how He works and we are not shaky or uncertain when things happen that seem negative, destructive or unpalatable.

“We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God” – NLT. God is in charge and is working, and is making “everything” to align and cooperate together for our good. Isn’t this wonderful? Even when Satan thinks he has gotten us and seems to have the upper hand, God is still working out things for our good and for His purposes for our lives and our generation. The most important thing for us to do in to keep loving God, and remaining within the circumference of His revealed purpose for our lives. Once we stay close to Him in loving relationship, we can be rest assured that “everything” will be arranged for our good. In this truth, we can rest.

“I will no longer be anxious Oh Lord, because You are actively working for and in favor of my good. I have total rest knowing that You don’t lie, and this is the truth. For this reason, I yet love You much more. Amen.”
