PRACTICAL EVIDENCE (23)

Romans 8:33-34 (NKJV)

“Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”

We are above and beyond reproach. Nobody has the right or the authority to condemn us because God has chosen us as His elect and He justifies those whom He has chosen. We are the elect of God, secured and anchored in Christ. God will not listen to the voice of the accuser because the blood of Christ speaks louder and speaks better things than any accusation brought against us. Does this give us therefore permission to act irresponsibly? Of course not. Continually acting contrary to the nature and glory of Christ is actually the strongest indication that we are not in Christ; but for those who are in Christ, God will receive no charge against them.

We are the elect of God. Christ died and rose for us and because we believe, we have become the elect of God. And even when we stumble or wander or waiver, Christ is at God’s right hand praying for us and working to ensure that we are fully restored into our royal position as God’s elect. I am not afraid of the accuser because I know that God will not give him audience. This is the testimony of all who are under God’s charge.

“I rejoice Lord that You will not receive any accusation against me. I rejoice that You are committed to my overcoming. I rejoice that you are constantly praying for me. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen.”
