Don’t live for nothing

Stand up for something-

Why live for something that’s nothing

Life is too short,

– too short to chase shadows!

Live out in the light

Take a risk for a cause that counts!

There’ll be risks,

There’ll be much oppositions,

But stand to make a difference

Lay your life on the line

Fight a good fight

Fight for what will impact many

Fight for what will impact others

You may win or you may fail

That’s not what matters.

All that matters is that you’re willing to stand;

To step out of the shadows,

To speak up for what counts;

To fight for the cause of others;

To speak for the needy-

The voiceless.

Success is not what people think of you.

Success is refusing to be a coward;

Success is seeing others rise from the dust;

I don’t care for the accolades of men

All I care about is God’s will to be done;

For His name to be honored;

For His people freed from shame;

For the suffering to be liberated;

For the oppressed to be free;

For the forgotten to be remembered.

Stand up for what really counts.

Don’t watch in silence.

Don’t over analyze situations.

Get involved.

Silence is not an option.

Fate does not fight for cowards.

Destinies are molded by those who stand;

Yes, those who stand up & take risk.

If I must suffer,

Let me suffer for standing up.

If I must suffer,

Let it be worth it.

Whimpering isn’t for destiny makers

Scardies don’t change situations.

Don’t admit to what you didn’t do

Don’t accept less than what you believe

Stand for what you believe

Fight for what is true

And if no one else comes along

That’s ok.

Fight alone.

Let history judge

Let God judge.

It’s not about you.

Never forget that:

It’s never about you.

It’s about truth.

It’s about helping people.

It’s about the ideal.

It’s about human dignity.

It’s about righteousness.

It’s about God:

And His perfect plans for mankind.

You are His voice of reason

You’re His face; His hands; His feet

So sitting around describing situations-

Will achieve nothing

Stepping out & standing up-

Can’t change everything.

Don’t try to be a superhero.

Just stand up as you are.

That’s all that counts.
