“Gad, a troop shall tramp upon him, But he shall triumph at last.”
Life is full of enemies of the truth and enemies of righteousness; and for those who will stand for what is right, there will be a trampling over by the people of this world. Although you don’t deserve to be trampled, the world will hate you and push you down; again and again and again. But the good news is: they cannot keep you down.
Gad was trampled all over, but to the surprise of the enemy, he kept rising again and again until he overcame.
Those who refuse to stay down will eventually overcome. The world wants us to stay down, to give up, and to accept defeat. But for those in Christ Jesus, we are more than conquerors through Christ. We don’t stay down. We rise again. And eventually, we overcome everything Satan throws our way. Why? Because the Almighty lives within and He cannot be defeated.
“I cannot be defeated. Satan may trample me down several times, and I may be battered and bruised from the trampling, but I am an overcomer through Christ who strengthens me. Hallelujah. Amen.”
