I SHALL NOT FLEE

Psalms 11:1 (NKJV)

‘In the Lord I put my trust; How can you say to my soul, “Flee as a bird to your mountain”?’

I shall not flee. The enemy wants to prove that he is superior to God by creating fear and anxiety in the heart of the righteous. But the righteous puts his trust in the Almighty God, and under His protection shall he dwell.

So how dare you say to me, ‘flee like a bird?’ I say to you, ‘flee for your life’. Flee before the wrath of my Father rests on you. I belong to the Source of all power. I am safe and secure in His hands. And if He permits harm to come my way, it was not because His strength was weak to protect me but because it was part of His grand plan to glorify Himself, even through my pain. Stephen’s death was part of God’s plan to capture Paul and explode the Church. So I will not flee because whether in good or in bad times, He is in control of my life. Amen.

‘O foolish men, how dare you ask me to flee? Watch your back because it will soon be your turn to flee; to flee from the wrath of the All Consuming Fire!’

‘Yes Lord. This is my conviction. No matter what evil is planned against me, I shall not flee like a bird. I shall stand for righteousness sake because I believe in the Almightiness of God. And if pain is ordained to be my portion, I will accept is as part of your grand plan for your glory. But I shall not live a fearful terrified life. O God, I pray same for your Church in the suffering and persecuted world. Give them strength today to trust you yet again, as they have done in the past. In Jesus name. Amen.’
