SECURE FOREVER

Psalms 11:3 (NKJV)

‘If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?’

My foundation is Jesus and my foundation can never be destroyed. Jesus cannot be destroyed because His foundation is firm, even to endure the most wicked assault from hell. I cannot be destroyed because my foundation cannot be destroyed. And the foundation holds the house, not the house holding the foundation. What sense of relief that Jesus is the One supporting me.

A brief caution, however, is that I must ensure that my house is indeed built on Christ. If my house is built on my self-righteousness, then self-righteousness can be destroyed. If my house is built on good works, good works can be destroyed. If my house is built on Christianity, Christianity can be destroyed. I must ensure that my house is built on Jesus Himself- the Rock Of Ages. And then can my security be sure, as I walk with and remain in Him.

What’s your life-destiny and eternity built on?

‘Lord, I am comforted that you are the foundation of my life. I am comforted that my life is built on you, Jesus. I celebrate the fact that you cannot be broken or destroyed so I am sure of who I am and where I am. Help me to find peace in this fact; that I am indeed secure in you because you cannot be broken.’
