Beyond the superficial experiences in regulated, organized church, there

is more of God to encounter. God is deep. God is real. God is available. For the hungry heart, God is waiting to meet with you at a deeper level. As St. Bernard would say, “We taste Thee, O Thou Living Bread, And long to feast upon Thee still: We drink of Thee, the Fountainhead And thirst our souls from Thee to fill.”

GENESIS, rediscovering God afresh is a product of my hunger and experience of God in my devotional times. Many years ago, I felt the Lord nudg- ing me to keep track of His dealings with me and revelations to me in Scriptures. And as I started growing in this discipline, it became apparent that what God was showing me in those quiet moments were not just for me, but also for a larger audience in His Church. I began to sense that God wanted me to share some of these truths with His Body, and many of the burdens and insights I received from God became topics for my itinerant teaching ministries as well as content for the Restless Pilgrim Devotional (RPD) Series. This book is from that Series.
