Genesis 12:3 (NKJV)

‘I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”’

There’s no need to struggle with men; indeed, when a Man is deeply rooted in the right soils, he cannot help but flourish. When God has chosen to bless a Man, who can curse such a Man. And if this is so, then why do we fret so much when we have such a great and lavish promise? For Abraham, all he needed to do was remain in his walk with God, and he knew that God’s promise would come true. How does that apply to me?

If I am rooted deeply in Christ, those who align with me will automatically get a blessing and those who fight me will get a curse. I don’t need to pray for a blessing on my friends or a curse on my enemies. The reality remains; God will bless some and God will curse some, and all this will be solely based on their relationship with me. Isn’t that awesome?
