Everything is fading away

I don’t want to sound pessimistic-

But everything will fade

All the beauties of today will fade

All our glories Of yesterday have faded

It’s all passing away

Therefore, why invest on the fading?

Why put everything in what won’t last?

Why not invest in what will endure?

God does not fade

His Word does not fade

His Kingdom does not fade

His mandate does not fade

His Bride does not fade

As a wise investor therefore,

I need to invest in eternal treasures

I need to invest in what will outlast me

If I invest only in the temporal-

Then I am a foolish man

If I only invest in myself-

In my family, my pleasures, my success-

Then I am worse than foolish

Invest in God

Invest in His Kingdom

Invest into the Word of God

Invest in His Church

Invest in God’s global mandate.

Take risk on these things

Invest your heart

Invest your time

Invest your goodwill

Invest your energy

Invest your resources

These bring eternal blessings

These bring endless joys

These bring unspeakable glories

These investments do not fail

Be a wise investor

All of Man’s Glory will fade

Like the flower that withers

They shall all pass away

Even I, in this body of flesh-

Will pass away.

As a wise builder

Build correctly on a solid foundation

Build what will outlive you

Invest in shares that have great rewards-

A recompense that’s beyond this world

A recompense that is for eternity

Invest each day wisely

And rejoice forevermore
