FAITH AND GRACE

May 4, 2019

Romans 4:16 (NKJV)

“Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed…”

Faith unlocks grace, and grace is attracted to those who believe. Grace is not of works. Grace does not correspond to those who think they have the right and the ability to do of themselves. Grace is the free gift blessings of God that is showered on those who believe. Grace cannot be earned and for grace to be grace, it must be directly connected to those who have stepped out of works, into the faith that comes from God.

There is a faith that is of man, which corresponds to human boasting. This type of faith does not unlock grace. But there is a faith that is secret, earnest and persevering; a faith that vulnerably gazes into the eyes and heart of God. Such a faith is a sweet smelling savor to God, and unlocks the heart of God’s lavish favors to man. All of the spiritual seed of Abraham have access to this type of faith, and there are no human barriers before such as have this faith. Jews and Gentiles have full access to the full grace of God, if they truly believe.

“Lord, I know I am a Gentile in the flesh but I am also a Jew in the Spirit of Christ. I have full access to all of Your grace because I choose to believe without reservations. I am a descendant of the Seed. Amen.”
