Romans 10:14-15 (NKJV)
“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?…”
The problem of the nations not hearing the gospel is in the weakness of our sending team. The human power behind those who preach the gospel are those who send them. The senders are the most critical human ingredient in fulfilling the great commission. If there were sufficient senders, there will be sufficient goers, and once the goers are fully backed by the senders, then the task of world evangelization would be feasible and doable.
Thank God for those committed senders who understand their role and calling. The critical need today lies with raising more senders. I need to be a sender. I need to raise more senders. The great advantage churches have over mission agencies is that they have a default sending base. The weakness of churches however is that they need to constantly service and feed the sending base with all sorts of diets and programs to keep them committed to the church, before they can be senders. The entire energy spent on nursing and servicing these senders then becomes a huge drain in itself. The solution for world evangelization is in the ministry of God-motivated senders who understand their strategic role in God’s global agenda and don’t need anyone to help them fulfill their God-given mandate. The world earnestly waits for the ministries of this strategic division in God’s Army.
“Oh Lord, raise a global community of senders who understand their ministry and pursue after it, without waiting for anyone to motivate and applaud them. In Jesus name. Amen.”
