Romans 11:15 (NKJV)
“For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?”
There is a future glorious day that we cannot imagine what it will look like, a day when Israel will be restored to faith. If by their lack of faith, the world is reconciled, then what would happen to the world when they embrace faith? A day is coming when because of the faith of Israel, the world will experience what she has never experienced before. It would be a resurrection not just for Israel, but for the world.
So, don’t gloat over Israel. Thank God for the season of their unbelief because that’s what brought about our salvation. But rejoice because one day soon, Israel will be reborn and the impact of that rebirth would be a glory that cannot be described. We need to pray for Israel, that her day of visitation would be soon, for only after that can we even begin to look forward to the new heavens and the new earth.
“Lord, restore Israel. Have mercy and visit Israel again. They didn’t believe You the first time You came. May they believe You at this second visitation. In Your name I pray. Amen.”
