Romans 3:22 (NLT)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Justification simply means to be \u201cmade right with God.\u201d Everyone wants to be made right with God, but the problem has always been how. We work so hard and try so hard to make ourselves right with God, but we always fall short, our consciences bearing us witness that we are still below God\u2019s holy standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But praise God that we are made right not by what we do but who we believe in. If we truly place our hopes and faith in Jesus Christ, then we are justified before God and accepted by God. The wonder of justification is that we are \u201cjustified\u201d or \u201cmade just\u201d because we are covered by the \u201cjust life of Jesus Christ.\u201d As the old hymn says, \u201cMy hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus\u2019 blood and righteousness.\u201d Oh Halleluya! What joy! What freedom!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe hymn says, \u2018I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean on Jesus name.\u2019 Yes Lord, I dare not trust on any frame but only and wholly on Jesus, the Christ, my redeemer and justifier.
