I am not ashamed to own up to my weaknesses because Christ died for the weak and the helpless. I do not prove myself in being weak, neither do I encourage myself to be spiritually weak, but I accept the reality that there will be times when I am weak and unable to live up to the expectations of the discipleship lifestyle. At such times, I need to remember that, \u201cWhen we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.\u201d \u2013 NLT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am utterly helpless without Christ, and if He loved me enough to die for me when I still was utterly sinful, how much more does He love me now that I belong to Him, though sometimes weak in the flesh? I will not and do not tolerate intentional sinning or a poor spiritual lifestyle, but I must also be confident that Jesus loves me enough to do all that needs to be done to rescue me from myself and from the world, once I agree to cooperate with Him. The strong do not deserve help, but I deserve help because I am weak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLord, I am weak and I know You are close to me to help me. By Your grace, I will never walk away from You but even if I do, I know You will reach out to me. This is my joy today. Amen.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
