This God is all encompassing. While this may sound selfish, the truth is that God does not exist for us but for Himself. Everything in life was created and exists to bring Him glory. The purpose of man and every other created and uncreated thing is for the singular purpose of bringing glory to the Almighty God. God is God. The place of highest blessing is the place of bringing glory to God. The place of abandonment and bankruptcy is when we begin to exist for some other reason or some other person, outside the glory of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why should everything work for His glory? It\u2019s because \u201ceverything comes from Him and exists by His power.\u201d He is the Source. He is the Sustainer. Without Him, nothing can exist, and since He made all things in the first place, everything owes Him the duty of bringing Him glory because He made it all. God is God. It\u2019s all about keeping Him in the center and making sure that He is getting glory every moment of our lives. When I depart from bringing Him glory and I begin to take glory to myself, I am cutting off the life line of my existence. It\u2019s sad but when we live for ourselves, we take on the shape of the evil one in the eyes of God, because that is what Lucifer did that got him kicked out of heaven. It\u2019s all about His glory. Breathe it. Live for it. Express it. That\u2019s our purpose for living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
