Some have been given the grace to speak while others have been given the grace to write, to serve, to encourage or to support others. Whatever the grace, we need to use it for the benefit of the people around us, for the community. Paul sometimes spoke or wrote very strong words but because these words emanated from the grace of God, people recognized them even if they did not like them. The same was with John the Baptist. Grace makes even the unpalatable seem okay.

“Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning.” – NLT. Grace gives you privilege and authority. When you try to do something without the grace of God, you will lack authority. Grace gives a privilege to serve with God’s authority. Paul was able to bring a warning to the people of God because of the authority and grace he carried. Don’t try to be like Paul. Find out what is God’s grace on Your life, and that grace will open the doors of privilege and authority in serving God’s people. Grace brings authority. Halleluya.

“Yes Lord, may I only function in the areas of Your grace and authority for my life. I know it’s not my right but a privilege, and I thank you for it.
