Romans 15:13 (NKJV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are called to abound in all things, but the key to every other abounding is to abound in hope. Once you have hope and abound in it, every other area of your life will also abound. Hope is the password to abounding. When we lose hope, we lose our future. Once we lose hope, we don\u2019t have anything left to offer ourselves or our world. The end target of Satan\u2019s assault is to make us discouraged and hopeless; and once he can succeed in this, he will succeed in all his other devious plans against us. So how do we remain abounding in hope?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Firstly, we need to seek God\u2019s continual infilling of joy and peace, and this comes by believing. If we stop believing, we will lose our joy and peace; and of course, our hope also will drop off. To abound in hope, we need to hold steady our faith in God\u2019s goodness even when we cannot understand Him, and we need to always trust Him to grant us His joy and peace that passes all human comprehension. Secondly, we need to trust in and depend on the Holy Spirit, for it\u2019s only by His power that we don\u2019t lose hope. God is the only One capable of upholding us and sustaining our hope, especially when Satan unleashes his \u201chope-crushing\u201d venoms and poisons. At such times, we need the power that\u2019s above Satan. Don\u2019t lose hope; I say again, don\u2019t lose hope. God\u2019s will for us in Christ Jesus is to overflow and abound in His hope, by which we can now abound in other areas of life. Keep hope alive. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes Lord, I choose to keep hope alive despite the onslaughts of Satan. I will hold on to You Lord by faith, knowing that You are also holding me steady in joy and peace, and by Your Holy Spirit. I will abound in all things, by Christ Jesus.
