\u201c\u2026because of the grace given to me by God, that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No man can take this honor unto himself. If I ministered the gospel of God and there was transformation in somebody\u2019s life, then I need to kneel down and worship God for this work of grace. God alone does the work of God, and when God chooses to work through a human vessel, then that is called the ministry of Grace. The ministry of Grace is the work of God flowing through a human life, to achieve the purposes of the gospel of God. No human being can do the work of God except God extends to him the ministry of grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Paul, as great as he was in the service of God, recognized that his ministry was an extension of the grace of God. And this should be our attitude as we labor with God. You cannot labor for God in the ministry of God. God labors for the establishment of His own purpose among the nations, and the best we can do is to labor alongside, knowing that even that is not possible without the extension of His grace to us. The gospel of God can only be done by the hand of God, and if we are permitted in mercy to be part of the labor of God, then we need to see it as a great act of grace from God, and therefore serve with much humility, simplicity and dependency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
