And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, \u2018See that no one knows it.\u2019 But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our call is to obey Jesus at all times and all situations. Disobedience is never a virtue in our walk with the Master, but I believe there could be exceptions. In this case, Jesus sternly warned the two previously blind men, not to tell anyone of the miracle they had experienced. But how could they be silent about this absolutely astonishing experience? How could they be silent when Jesus had just turned their previously dark and depressing world into a world of light, hope, and freedom? How could such a miracle be kept a secret?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I agree with the blind men for not obeying Jesus. I don\u2019t understand why Jesus \u201csternly warned\u201d them to keep it a secret. I don\u2019t usually plan to disobey Jesus, but if I were in this situation, I would disobey Jesus and proclaim His greatness and His power to the world around me. I think it\u2019s a problem when Jesus has done so much for us, and we don\u2019t proclaim it. We need to learn to testify openly about the goodness and the miracles of God in our lives. Let\u2019s not wait until all our problems are solved. And let\u2019s not hide under a fake cloak of spiritual humility. Like these blind men, let\u2019s shout it out loud and let the whole world know, that Jesus is fantastic and has done amazing things for us. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cLord Jesus, forgive me for not testifying as loudly and as frequently as I should. I know You\u2019ve not commanded me to, but I must testify of Your wonders in my life. Starting from today, I at this moment commit to making Your wonders known to my world by testifying of the many, many wonders You\u2019ve done for me. Amen Jesus.
