{"id":3917,"date":"2018-06-11T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-06-11T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/restlesspilgrim.org\/?p=3917"},"modified":"2024-08-30T09:30:41","modified_gmt":"2024-08-30T09:30:41","slug":"watch-out-for-birds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/restlesspilgrim.org\/index.php\/2018\/06\/11\/watch-out-for-birds\/","title":{"rendered":"WATCH OUT FOR BIRDS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Matthew 13:4&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cAnd as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I must be aware of the devouring birds that don\u2019t allow the seed of God\u2019s Word to gain root in my life. God is always speaking and sowing His Word, but the devil is also always alert and vigilant to pick up the revelations of God from our lives before we have time to digest or immerse them into our souls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God\u2019s Word left exposed cannot bring any value to our lives. God\u2019s Word must be internalized, buried deep within the realm of our spirit-man before it can produce fruit. And Satan will do everything possible to ensure that God\u2019s revelation is removed before it gains roots. We don\u2019t have gain from merely hearing or reading God\u2019s Word. Benefit comes when the Word penetrates the fabrics of our soul and thereby mingles with the inner recesses of our being to bring inner transformation. But this is what Satan fights. This is the ministry of the birds. We must, therefore, learn to preserve under Christ, every Word sent to us, and forcefully fight against the spiritual attacks from hell that seek to remove God\u2019s input into our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cDistractions Lord, that\u2019s my biggest problem. I have the, but I am so often distracted by these birds so that Your rich Word isn\u2019t making the kinds of impacts they ought to. O Lord, deliver me from the aerial attacks of these birds, in Jesus name.
