\u2018And God blessed them, saying, \u201cBe fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.\u201d\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The blessing of God is directly tied to fruitfulness and reproduction. The first time we see God blessing anything, it is directly tied to it being fruitful and multiplying. Fruit bearing and multiplication is not an afterthought of God. From the onset, God\u2019s vision is for His creation to multiply and fill everywhere. To be a fast reproducing creation is not an aberration, it is part of the creation DNA. God expects, indeed demands, that His creation multiplies and fills everywhere. Barrenness was not and is not, part of God\u2019s plan for His creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Are you bearing fruit and multiplying? If so, praise God. Are you dead and barren? If yes, go to God and seek for answers. God wants His creation to be fruitful and to reproduce, not just physically, but in every area of goodness and godlikeness. God expects it; He demands it. That was His plan from the beginning. So go for it. Be fruitful and multiply. Expand. Increase. Grow. Spread out. You are in the central purpose of God when you do this, only ensure you are doing it in His way and under His guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018Lord, thank you for this liberating thought, thank you for the freedom to dream multiplication and expansion without feeling that I am contradicting your will. But Lord, please give me the wisdom to differentiate selfish ambition from godly multiplication. And always help me to see how my growth must remain in line with the principles of your Word and your precepts, lest I draw darkness into my life in the bid to multiply. This I pray in Christ\u2019s name.
