Genesis 3:1 (NKJV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, \u201cHas God indeed said, \u2018You shall not eat of every tree of the garden\u2019?\u201d \u2018<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I must always be aware of the cunningness of Satan. He usually won\u2019t come against you frontally but he is very aware of what he intends to achieve. Simplicity and naivety are not helpful in dealing with your adversary. He is out to destroy you. He is out to steal God\u2019s purpose for your life. He is out to rob you. He\u2019s out to bring you into direct conflict with God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Be aware! Be vigilant. Alertness is not an option for survival in these last days. Everywhere we turn, the seductions and distractions are there, all subtly hidden under the camouflage of something of value or worth. Look twice; think twice, before making that decision. Listen attentively to the voice of God within you, before clinching that deal. Before the commitment, look carefully at the wordings. May we hear beyond the external voices. May we rather hear from deep within, the silent whispers of God\u2019s voice of caution and guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018O Lord, unless you help us, we cannot overcome this cunning foe. He\u2019s so hard to spot and he\u2019s often mixed up with the other good things you\u2019ve created. But help us discern where he\u2019s lurking and help us distinguish him from your good creations. Teach us to hear your voice. In Jesus name, we pray.
