Genesis 17:1 (NKJV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, \u201cI am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n God\u2019s promises are sure, but His expectations are also definite. As He said to Abram, so He says to me, \u2018walk before me and be blameless.\u2019 God expects me to walk always in His presence. He expects all my actions to be such that I need not be ashamed before Him. If I so walk all the time (in the consciousness of God), then I will be living a blameless life, that is, a life without shame or reproof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n God\u2019s will for me is to live above reproof; to live blamelessly, to live in His presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018Almighty God, I want to always walk blameless before You but in this frail human vessel, I fear to confess that I many times am not blameless. For this reason, I appeal to the sacrifice of Jesus to hide my shame and present me perfect and blameless before Your presence. Amen to Jesus and His blood work over me.
