He had received promises. He had encountered God in the past. He was waiting for a fresh visitation; he was only waiting for instructions on how the prophecy concerning him shall be fulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We need to wait, even if the vision tarries. We need to wait in faith and hope, not in desperation and despair. Abraham was not frustrated. The Lord had spoken to him and assured him of some things. Now he waited. He listened. He watched. Let\u2019s not be anxious neither give up hope when the promise tarries. God is able to do it in His time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u2018I know what I have heard from You in Your presence. I know the things I am expecting and waiting of You. O Lord, I sit at the door of my heart and I wait in faith and expectation. There shall be a performance of the things promised to me, in Jesus name.
