So we said, \u201cLet there now be an oath between us, between you and us; and let us make a covenant with you\u2026You are now the blessed of the Lord.\u201d\u2018\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abimelech\u2019s people had been so envious of Isaac that they sent him away. They did not want him around because he was prospering too much for them. But despite being driven away, Isaac kept growing and expanding and flourishing, until it came to a point, it was more than evident that everyone could tell and confess: \u201cthe Lord is with you; you are blessed of the Lord.\u201d Isaac couldn\u2019t stop prospering, and they realized it was now in their best interest to make peace with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s my prayer, Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBless me so much that even the envious will be forced to recognize that there\u2019s nothing they can do about it. It\u2019s not that I am fighting anyone or competing with anyone but despite my staying away from the arenas of competition, let Your hand on my life astound and confuse all the envious and despiteful.
