Genesis 32:10-11 (NKJV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am not worthy of the least of all the mercies and of all the truth which You have shown Your servant\u2026Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau; for I fear him\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Help begins with a genuine confession of our need. If I don\u2019t know, I have a need, or if I feel too strong to confess I have a need, then heaven will not arise for me. While Jacob tried to scheme his way into Esau\u2019s heart, heaven was silent; but after he had come to this point of total dependency, God moved on his behalf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God is available to help the weak and needy. God does not come to help the strong. When we own up that we have weaknesses and need strength, then heaven\u2019s response will be swift. To be afraid is not a weakness because boldness and confidence from God come to those who cry, \u2018deliver me for I am afraid.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cO Lord, deliver me because I am afraid of so many things. I am full of weaknesses, many of which no one knows but myself. If You don\u2019t help me, I am done. Please quickly come to my rescue Oh my Lord and God. Amen.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
