Leadership is not executing tasks at your pace. Leadership is understanding the speed of your team and leading them at their pace. Even when the pace needs to increase, it must be a gradual increase that does not break them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jacob refused to move ahead with Esau because he knew his livestock and family would be unable to cope with that pace. He was more concerned about his team than about the fellowship with his brother on the journey. That\u2019s leadership\u2026caring for the weaker amongst you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you are tempted to run hard and fast to get better results, look around you first to ensure you have a team and family that can endure the hard new pace. If they can\u2019t, then slow down. That\u2019s right leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
