{"id":5764,"date":"2019-05-06T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-05-06T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/restlesspilgrim.org\/?p=5764"},"modified":"2024-10-08T11:29:53","modified_gmt":"2024-10-08T11:29:53","slug":"the-aroma-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/restlesspilgrim.org\/index.php\/2019\/05\/06\/the-aroma-2\/","title":{"rendered":"THE AROMA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am called to diffuse,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To reflect,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To disseminate SOMEONE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through diffusion, I am called to distribute an aroma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I cannot pretend to be who I am not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If my aroma is real, it can be picked up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If I am soaked inside of Christ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then I bear the aroma of God in Christ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And this aroma will naturally spread and be smelt by everyone close by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I carry an aroma that both attracts and repels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those who are in Christ<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(And love the ways of Christ),<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My aroma should be an aroma of life,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An aroma of joy,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An aroma of peace,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An aroma that challenges them to seek more of Christ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To want more of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I am among those who hate Christ<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Or refuse to live within the lifestyle of Christ),<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My aroma should bring a negative reaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Such persons must feel the condemnation that comes from Christ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They know He loves them but their hearts judge them for their actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aroma of Christ brings life and death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aroma of Christ diffuses naturally without effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aroma of Christ draws in one and repels another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aroma of Christ brings attractions and rejections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My greatest calling is not to preach great messages,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But to be so filled with Christ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That His aroma naturally diffuses a perfume to everyone I meet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am tired to trying to prove a point,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When there\u2019s no need to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I cannot be friends to everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some will like me and some will hate me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What matters the most is to focus on being deep in Christ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And letting Christ display Himself to the world around me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cO Lord Jesus,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Soak me in Your aroma<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And let it diffuse through me to my world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This I pray for earnest and desperately,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Your name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amen.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am called to diffuse, To reflect, To disseminate SOMEONE.
