Life is full of entanglements,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And I must be strong to free myself from them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So many things seem so crucial,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While in reality, they are not actually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To please my Master,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I must flee many things;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I must disassociate my heart from some life entanglements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many things are desirable,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But they are not needful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I can survive without many things,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And still be happy without them,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only if I can see them as entanglements,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Encumbrances really;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Distractions from keeping a pure focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My life is so short,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And my primary desire is singular:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Love my Master and do His bidding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whatever will limit this singular passion,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is of the devil;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An entanglement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All my heart\u2019s desire is to love purely,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And serve purely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I must therefore daily discern what is needful to this pursuit,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And what is not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s a daily warfare to detect the difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is pleasure wrong?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Are comforts wrong?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Certainly not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is enjoying the things of life wrong?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of course not!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But living for pleasure, comfort and enjoyment is wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pursuing these things will only encumber your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chasing these things is like living to trap the wind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All your efforts will end in vanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I want to be free to focus on Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s the joy of my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My joy will never come from these distractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My joy comes from pure undiluted adoration of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And when He gives me earthly pleasures to enjoy,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I want to enjoy them in worship of Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Any pleasure that becomes a focus in itself is an idol,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An entanglement, an evil ploy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once pleasures lead me deeper into worship & adoration,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then it\u2019s serving its rightful purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Detect all things that serve contrary,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And be strong against such showing no mercy whatsoever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because life is so short,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Giving space to diverse distractions is wasting your precious life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can\u2019t afford to give in to seducing spirits that confuse;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can\u2019t afford to allow low level demonic activity dampen you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Love God and serve Him supremely is your life purpose;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anything or anyone that competes with this purpose,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is a thief and a robber,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An entanglement from hell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
