History is not made by weak men<\/p>\n\n\n\n
History is not made by confused men<\/p>\n\n\n\n
History is not made by empty men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
History is made by visionaries<\/p>\n\n\n\n
History is made by pragmatists<\/p>\n\n\n\n
History is made by clear minded men<\/p>\n\n\n\n
History is made by people of strength-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strong on principles<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strong on morals<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strong in endurance<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strong on ideas<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No man makes history alone<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every man who makes history has men-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men who believe in him,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men who trust him,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men whom he can trust,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men of broad vision,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Committed men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Loyal men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men who don\u2019t fear him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men who can speak their minds,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men who understand him,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men who understand people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men who can criticize him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men of ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men who see reality,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And who can see the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men of strength,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And men of compassion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So where are you on this journey?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I know I was born to make history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In different ways,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have made history-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But I know I have not arrived yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I know my days ahead are yet coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So I pray with all earnestness-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For strength,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For courage,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the right ideas,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the right men,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For skills & abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For discernment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I pray for the discipline of focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I pray I\u2019ll know my day when it comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I pray I will not flee when the door opens,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I need to hear when God says,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt is time,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When God says, \u201cMove forward.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am afraid but I am calm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I sense my next phase is coming,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But I am afraid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I almost want to run;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But He holds me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I hear Him say, \u201cWait. Be still.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh Lord, I am a weak man<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am a man of many fears<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have strong passions & ideas-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But am weak in discipline & endurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If I must enter the door you\u2019re opening,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then Lord, you just must work hard on me<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You have lots of work to do Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But I will not shy away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When each door opens, Lord,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Help me know which ones are yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deliver me from empty ambition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deliver me from presumptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Help me walk forward,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And for your Glory & Praise,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
May I do what others have not done-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only for your Glory & Praise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Writing Your history-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A history that honors You,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And serves humanity-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is my greatest honor & privilege.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When the bell rings,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lord help me to hear you-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And not the quiet small inner voice of Self,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or the loud chants of vain men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
May I hear Your voice,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And respond to You.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
