The easiest part of leadership is when you are asked to lead. At this point, you may feel some euphoria or excitement about being chosen to do something special. Promotion feels great. But the real challenge is to get people to believe in you and to follow you. And this only happens when you prove yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prove your worth. We are already chosen, and we are already worthy, but not everybody will understand the theory of that. Proving your worth means, manifesting what God has put in you. Because God does not call without first depositing grace within you, you need to dig in to discover your hidden capacities and let them show. After that, people will believe, and follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even Jesus needed to prove Himself. He was the Son of God and knew very well His worth, but until He started manifesting Himself, followership was half-hearted. This world needs fewer \u201ctheory leaders\u201d who sit on the chair of leadership but have nothing to offer the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prove your worth by your life. Prove your worth by your character. Prove your worth by how you respond to issues. Prove your worth by your love. Prove your worth by living counter-culture. People will embrace your leadership once they see and understand your difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After Saul was anointed king, he went back to his normal farming activities, and everyone went back to theirs. Officially he was king, but they did not gather to celebrate him publicly\u2026until he proved himself. After he manifested leadership and gained victory in battle, they, \u201cmade Saul king before the Lord in Gilgal,\u201d and then they, \u201crejoiced greatly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We need people who can display unusual grace that shows they are different. Leadership is showing \u201cdifference\u201d in a positive way. People want to see and follow people who can display their uniqueness. As I have said so many times, leadership is not positional. Leadership is displaying your unique grace; displaying your unique worth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
