On the pathway to your vision, you will meet many discouragements, and each one will tell you that you cannot make it. That’s Satan’s primary ploy to keep God’s people away from moving forward.

While we cannot disregard the reality of physical obstacles, the real obstacles will be the voices you hear. There are two types of voices – inner voices and outer voices. As you approach your obstacles, the voices will intensify their opposition. From whispering, they will begin screaming your name, and listing out reasons to turn back. Don’t listen to them!

Your greatest enemy is not the Philistine garrison. Your greatest enemy are the obstacles on your journey to the garrison. When Satan senses God is about to move through you; he will heighten the volume of opposing voices. Your inadequacies will be his primary target. He will point out so many reasons why you should not proceed. These are lies from hell.

Bozez and Seneh were sharp rocks that Jonathan had to navigate through, on his journey to the Philistine garrison. Indeed, these sharp rocks were dangerous and tricky. With one wrong step, Jonathan could fall to his death. But he wasn’t discouraged. He kept moving forward.

Don’t listen to the voices that magnify obstacles. Don’t listen to the voices that whisper and scream for you to turn back, and to give up on God’s dream for your life. God is sending you on a mission. The Philistine garrison is your goal. Don’t stop midway. You’ve been selected for an assignment. God is sending you on an errand. Keep that goal before you.

Yes, acknowledge the risk on the journey, and don’t belittle the cost required to get to your destination. But keep moving forward. Go past Bozez. Go past Seneh. Climb through carefully. Don’t be presumptuous about the sharp rocks, but know that your destiny is beyond it.

God intends for us to get to the Philistine garrison and put the enemy to flight. The miracle waits for us ahead. Bozez and Seneh are only small obstacles on the way. If we let opposing voices dissuade us, we will miss out on the big miracle ahead.
