\u2018You have tested my heart\u2026 You have tried me and have found nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n It is doable. It is possible to make a decision before God and execute it. It is possible to make a vow with yourself that you will not be careless with your words. Sin lies in the multitude of words. David decided that he would not transgress by the kinds of words that came out of his mouth. What a decision! What knowledge of himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n God is testing us and one area many of us fail is in our words. And words proceed from our heart. So where our hearts are pruned and disciplined, our words will follow suite. Where our hearts are unbridled, so will our tongues. David said God had tried him and found nothing because he had control of his heart and therefore his mouth. They both go together. An uncontrolled heart leads to an uncontrolled mouth. O That our lives are always bridled by God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Is your heart bridled and pruned? Are your words controlled and seasoned with salt? If God were to try you, what would He find?<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018Lord, I see the need for greater discipline and grace that would keep my heart bridled and my mouth controlled. Oh Lord, how I desire that when you come to weigh my heart and my words, that you will find nothing false or in error. Keep me away from the transgression that\u2019s tied to an unbridled mouth. This shall surely be a great deliverance for me, Lord. In Jesus name.
