Your Message

Galatians 1:11-12

‘But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.’

Seek the message that comes from God. Don’t simply recycle old messages or research other people’s messages. Much more dangerous is producing messages simply from the human intellect. Your messages must come from God, by revelation. Even reading the normal text of scripture can be dead or produce human reasonings, except the revelation of God comes to you by His Spirit.

If we want to change society, we need fresh manna from heaven. We need to go beyond reproducing someone’s great message; we need to seek ‘fresh manna’ from heaven; and feed men on God’s revealed truth, not some stale message from human intelligence. This is not just for preachers. We all need heaven speaking to us daily & giving us new insights from His Word & about His world. We’ve groomed a lazy generation that’s always quick to ‘push forward’ someone else’s revelation but lack the discipline to wait on God for a personalized insight from heaven. Wait on God & He’ll speak something fresh.

‘Lord, use men to teach me. Help me to listen & learn from others. But more than this, help me to crave more, much more. Grant me Lord the mercy of receiving fresh insights & Spirit-filled understanding of your Word. I want your Rhema poured fresh into me daily. And let my message to men be anchored around these fresh heavenly manna. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.’
