Galatians 1:16

‘to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood’

The first purpose of the election by grace is to reveal Jesus to us. The election of grace brings the revelation of who Jesus is even to our understanding. It is this understanding that changes our behavior and drive. But the second purpose of the election of grace is that we should preach this revealed Christ to our lost world. This is the beauty of the revelation. It is not to simply know who Christ is but to make Him known.

Don’t wait for permission to fulfill the purpose of your election. Don’t wait to confer with men. Grace is revealed to us so that we can give grace to others. You have God’s permission; more than that, you have God’s mandate. Get out there and let grace flow naturally.

‘Jesus, I accept the responsibility for taking grace forward. You have released grace to me so you can release grace to others through me. Help me take this very seriously & teach me to stop waiting for human approval before doing it. In your name I pray. Amen.’
