Galatians 2:4-5 (NKJV)

‘And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth… that they might bring us into bondage), to whom we did not yield submission even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.’

For the truth of the gospel to continue from one generation to the next, there must be a fight against falsehood within the Church. The greatest enemy of the Church is not without but within; and these are false brethren spreading the false doctrines that poison the hearts of men. You cannot be weak when dealing with false brethren because for the truth to continue to the next generation, there must be a confrontation with falsehood within the Church.

So we must confront falsehood and false brethren. These men who come in secretly seek to bring us into bondage and we must not give them opportunity. We must fight in the spirit and fight through correct teaching. One of the greatest needs of our generation are biblical teachers who will rightly divide the Word of Truth, so that that the truth of the gospel may be preserved for the next generation.

Are you fighting for the truth of the gospel or are you accommodating teachers of the unbalanced and poisoned gospel?

‘Lord, help me be sensitive to every false doctrine and every false brother, and by the power of your Word, may I teach with passion and determination, the unadulterated truth; without fear or reservation. Amen.’
