THE WAY OF THE RIGHTEOUS

Psalms 1:6 (NKJV)

‘For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.’

The most exciting thing about walking with God is that nothing takes Him by surprise and so our lives are fully secured in Him. ‘The Lord knows the way of the righteous’. Such comfort. He knows the way I will take before I take it. In reality, He leads the way of the righteous that is why He knows the way of the righteous. The righteous is never on a road or a path that He is unaware of, and even if that way leads to pain and suffering, He knows. This is so assuring.

So while He knows the way of the ungodly leads to perishing, He safeguards the way of the righteous, away from the things that decay and destroy. Even when Satan has planned evil against me, He knows before Satan executes his plan and nothing takes Him by surprise. Praise God. Life can, therefore, be lived with full confidence and assurance, knowing that the Almighty God knows my way and walks with me in the ways of this life and the next. Hallelujah.

Are you sure and secure that He knows where you are?

‘Thank you, Lord, for granting us the privilege of living life to the fullest possibility, because you walk with us through the labyrinth of life. There is no fear in life nor insecurity in death. While the ungodly are destined to perish, that is certainly not my portion. Thank you, Lord, for the mercy that keeps me walking in the paths that are known to you. May I never walk in the strange paths of sin that lead to decay and desolation. In Jesus name.’
