Psalms 3:1-2 (NKJV)
‘Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.”’
Those who stand in opposition to the way of truth will continue to increase, and by extension, those who will stand against your way of righteousness will be many. Don’t expect otherwise. There will be a rise in those who will want to see your downfall and your failure and will want to glee in your frustration and will want to observe your heart break; because they hope that God will not come through. They are waiting and watching on the sidelines.
So fortify your resolve in God because they wait to hear you cry and hear you confess that your God is unfaithful. Their joy is to know that you recognize that God cannot be trusted. Put them to shame by constantly giving God praise even when things are not clear and the solution has not come. Keep giving God praise so that their expectation shall not be fulfilled.
Do not yield. Frustrate those men and spirits that rise us against you and want to hear those incredulous blasphemous words from you. Refuse to bow to pressure and stay transfixed in God, even when the troubles of life overflow. There is always help in God and help is on the way.
‘Jesus, these many troublers and liars shall not find satisfaction in me because I will not present you as unreliable and undependable. Yes, everything may not work out as planned and as desired but it shall never come out of my mouth to put the blame on you, my righteous God. There is always help in God and that shall always be my confession. Help me stand firm on this Lord. Amen.’
