MY VINDICATION

Psalms 17:1-2 (NKJV)

‘Hear a just cause, O Lord, Attend to my cry; Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips. Let my vindication come from Your presence…’

Do you want vindication and intervention? Have you been wrongly accused and wrongly provoked? Is your lot being forced away from you without your consent? Your vindication shall surely come by two means: the presence of God and truthful prayers.

It’s God’s presence that justifies and vindicates. Once we concentrate on living in and cultivating that presence, He will surely from that presence, arise for you. And from within that presence, keep talking to Him of your situation, but make sure you are speaking to Him from a heart of truth. Don’t let your prayers just be a mumbling of words that have no roots in a heart of truth. Prayer must be sincere and truthful because God knows the truth. You cannot afford to reconstruct a story in your favor in order to get God to be on your side. Your story in prayer must be the true story that God will be able to look into and respond to. Your vindication lies in your presenting truth to God at all times.

‘Lord, that is the cry of my heart. Arise to vindicate me from those who look at me with evil intent and maliciously take away my right without a just cause. And teach me always to seek you as my vindicator and never act out in falsehood, either before you or before man. In Jesus name. Amen.’
