IN HIS STRENGTH ALONE

Psalms 17:13 (NKJV)

‘Arise, O Lord, Confront him, cast him down; Deliver my life from the wicked with Your sword’

The Lord has a sword and He uses it. The presence of God and the word of God are His very swords against evil. Don’t, therefore, trust in your own strength and your own abilities. Don’t trust in what you can do against these evil forces of darkness. Only the Light of God can dispel the darkness of the wicked.

So let’s call upon the Lord who is able to save. Let’s not trust in our own strength but call upon the name of the Lord, who is our strength and our strong tower. When we call upon His name, He reveals His sword against the wicked and evil men. He confronts and casts the enemy down. So call on His name. Use His name. Ask Him to arise over your situation and the enemies of your soul shall flee from you. His name is the sword feared by all.

‘Whom shall I fear when you are with me, Lord? Of whom, shall I be afraid? You Lord shall cast down the enemies of my soul and confront Him in your sore displeasure. Simply keep reminding me Lord, that it is only in you that I have victory over the wicked; not in my strength. Amen.’
