TIME FOR PROMOTION

November 26, 2016

Psalms 18:43 (NKJV)

‘You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; You have made me the head of the nations; A people I have not known shall serve me.’

You don’t have to strive with men to get the promotion of God. Yes, you need to excel in what you normally do and yes, you need to exert yourself to be the best. But that’s it, you push yourself to excel; but do not push others because you want to be promoted or recognized. Depart from any temptation to strive with men; rather, strive with yourself. Push yourself to your personal limits, and then leave the promotion to God.

Promotion is from God. When God chooses to make you the head in a situation, no one can stop you. It does not depend on those you know; in fact, a people who don’t know you will voluntarily come and serve you. Focus on developing yourself. Focus on walking with God. Focus on being the best you can be. Focus on not striving with men. And leave the rest to God. Wait for your promotion.

‘Lord, it’s you I know. I will not trust in my abilities but I will develop them. I know that when you choose to elevate me, it will entirely be by your own doing. Help me never to see men as my obstacles and never to strive with men. This I ask in Jesus name. Amen.’
