KNOW YOUR GARDEN

Genesis 2:8 (NKJV)

‘The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.’

For every man who has the breath of God, there’s a garden of Eden prepared for him. God PUT the man in the garden & made adequate preparation for his upkeep, from within the garden. This is a great revelation brought afresh to me. Do you know that all you need for life & sustenance, God has prepared ahead of you, once you remain in the garden God has put you in? Crisis happens to a man when he does not know his garden. Such a man keeps straying into strange gardens and interloping in the affairs of other people’s gardens. If you know your garden, you will have contentment and joy and rest, being in the center of your own garden.

O what joy knowing you are in the garden prepared for you. And note, don’t chase after your garden, let God ‘put you there’. He’s the one who knows your garden and He will take you there if you let Him. He wants to. He’s eager to take you there. After all, He made the garden for you. So surrender. Don’t keep looking at the other people’s gardens. Release yourself to enter your garden. And if you don’t like your garden, know that He is able to beautify and make it all that is best for you. Relax in the garden prepared for you.

‘O Lord I am covetous and many times desire other people’s gardens. I am tempted to see theirs as always better than mine so I have not been grateful for my garden. But today, I repent and ask that you give me contentment in the garden you’ve prepared for me. And if am in a wrong garden already, redeploy me in the shortest possible time. In your name, I pray. Amen.’
