PARADIGM SHIFT

Genesis 3:6 (NKJV)

‘So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate…’

Change your perspective and you change your actions. Every action is directly or indirectly tied to our paradigm; that is, the way we view and interpret things. If my eye is singular, all the body is full of one vision. If my eye is divided, my action is unstable based on a dual vision. If my perspective on any issue is settled within, my mental faculties will instruct my body to take commensurate action. Action is always tied to my vision.

Eve changed her ‘vision’. She began to ‘see’ differently. What she had seen as forbidden was now described as ‘good, pleasant and desirable’. Once that change occurred within her, her action to eat it was a natural follow-through. Sin is the natural product of a changed perspective on what God had called forbidden. May our definitions always align with heaven’s definitions. May we stay focused on what we know is truth and may our spiritual paradigms never change, irrespective of changing situations and clamoring voices around us.

‘Yes Father, may my definition always align with yours. May my vision and understanding align with yours. May my passion and concepts align with yours. May my paradigm align with yours. May my entire being never enter into the mode of rationalizing and embracing a new understanding of God’s unchanging truth. Many say new is better; with you Lord, may I always stick with the original instruction and old paradigm. In Jesus name. Amen.’
