Genesis 15:6 (NKJV)

‘And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.’

Righteousness & right standing before God has never been & cannot be according to our good works but by faith in God. Yes, we must manifest good works, but the works that heaven will acknowledge & accredit, as righteousness must be works born out of faith. Abram’s Righteousness was not based on circumcision or any such thing. It was based entirely on his faith in God and his belief in the promises of God to him.

Listen carefully to God’s Word to you. Study carefully His written Word. And then live expressly according to what God has revealed. The promises of God become active when men call it into being through their faith. Believe God and heaven will recognize you as righteous; heaven will be pleased with you.

‘O Lord, help my unbelief. Release me from smallness of heart and smallness of faith. Help me truly believe You and Your Word, with all my heart and soul, in Jesus name. Amen.’
