Genesis 18:17 (NKJV)

‘And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing,’

Abraham did not ask to know the secret and unknown things of God. He simply walked before God blameless and sought to train up his family in the way of the Lord. And God, of His free will and choice, chose to open up His secrets to Abraham. This was a rare privilege. This was a great honor.

What kind of life do I need to live for God to accord me with this privilege? What manner of man ought I to be to experience God intimately at such a level that God begins to show me things even without my requesting for it?

‘O Lord, take me beyond this superficial friendship with you. Take me deeper to the place where you can trust me enough to disclose your heart to me. Please, Lord. This is my heart’s desire. In Jesus name. Amen.’
