Ishmael had twelve princes, but they were known not just by their names but also by theirinces of Ishmael. And so it should be.

We need to each discover our areas of strength & passion and grow those areas. Personal growth and development happen as inbuilt competencies are given space to flourish. Each man in Christ is a Prince and needs freedom to exercise the God-given talents resident within. Sitting at the feet of your father when you are of age to grow your town, is not a sign of loyalty. And any father who keeps the child tied to his apron beyond the season of training is not doing his child good.
