Genesis 26:22 (NKJV)
“And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, ‘For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.’”
Ask for space. Seek more space to expand. Look for the opportunity to extend and spread. Rehoboth means “spaciousness.” Men will keep competing with you and will attempt to crowd you into a limited space. There will be too much hustling and justling in a small circumference. Because of the grace of God upon your life, you need space. You don’t need to be where people need attention and promotion and ceremony. You need to be where you can conquer and run and spread. That’s your need.
Move away from crowded places and crowded people. Look for your Rehoboth. Pray for Rehoboth. Move toward Rehoboth. You will not fully discharge all of the grace of God on your life if you do not find your space.
“Lord, I need space. Am tired of struggling with men. I need space. I want to break out and break forth, but I need to move away from the place of small-mindedness and competition. Please, Lord, take me to my Rehoboth. Amen.”
