Genesis 37:36 (NKJV)
“Now the Midianites had sold him in Egypt to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh and captain of the guard.”
In dealing with prophetic information, it may be clear what the outcome would be but how that result would become a reality, is usually heaven’s little secret. Although Joseph’s siblings sold him to the Ishmaelites, and Israel was devastated by the loss of his son and Joseph remained perplexed by the rapid change of his status from favored son to a slave of Potiphar; yet in all these, prophecy was rapidly progressing on to its fulfillment.
Heaven smiles at Satan’s antiques. God sees the end from the beginning. Whenever prophecy is given, the path to its fulfillment is apparently known by God but kept a secret from the sons of men. So don’t become devastated when life throws you a curve ball. God had known the curve before the ball was thrown and he knew exactly where the ball would hit you. But here’s the good news: the ball hitting you where and when it did had been factored in when your destiny was being foretold.
The greatest act of faith is trusting that God is always at work to bring you into His perfect purposes for you, even using the schemes of evil men as fuel to propel you into His perfect goodness for you.
” Halleluya. Am excited because of Him to whom I belong. Since nothing takes You by surprise Oh Lord, I will not fret because even Satan will serve Your purposes. I am a child of destiny, and my pathways are all in safe hands. It is always well with me. Hallelujah to You Lord. Halleluya!”
