UNCONTROLLABLE PROSPERITY

October 11, 2017

Genesis 39:23 (NKJV)

“The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority, because the Lord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper.”

Wherever you put a man who has God’s blessings, he will prosper. The hallmarks of God’s presence cannot be controlled. God is beyond what man can do or control. Once we remain soaked in God, we can survive and thrive anywhere.

Joseph was identified and distinguished even in prison. He could not be overlooked. He was a prisoner like everyone else but was given charge over all the other inmates. And the keeper of prisons did not care to monitor him because he totally trusted him.

Prosperity is not tied to where you are. Success is primarily connected to who you are and who you are with. If you are in God and with God, you will prosper in whatever you do. Simple.

“Oh God, I am with You and You are with me. Make me prosper and excel everywhere and in everything; as evidence that You are indeed with me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.”
